Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are more commonly known to be traditionally quite dry, however Sauvignon Blanc tends to have more sweeter style characteristics. You will notice Sauvignon Blanc
can quite easily be turned into a dessert wine which is very sweet. It is good to note that Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay can be made in very differing ways and therefore is truly up to the producer and winemaker to decide how dry or how sweet the wine is.
