Esk Valley Rosé 2021, Hawkes Bay

A signature Esk Valley wine style and regarded amongst the classic wines of New Zealand

Unlike Pinot Gris or Pinot Noir, Rosé is not a grape variety. Rosé is made in a similar way to white wine but made from red grapes. A very short period of skin contact extracts colour and gives Rosé its recognisable pink colouring and a much-loved lighter, crisper flavour.

TASTING NOTES

This dry style Rosé is widely regarded as New Zealand's premium Rosé and has won many awards since its first vintage in 1991. It is an excellent choice with many foods or as an aperitif. It is a beautiful pale pink, dry to taste with aromas and flavours of redcurrants, strawberry and peach.
