Celebrate a kiwi Christmas with a White Wine Sangria - a light, refreshing twist on the classic Sangria that blends crisp white wine, juicy summer fruits and a touch of sparkling flair. The perfect festive drop to cool off with under the New Zealand sun.

White Christmas Sangria Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 bottle Ruggeri Prosecco
- 150ml Elderflower Liqueur (St-Germain is a good choice)
- 500ml Sparkling Water or Soda
-1 Green Apple
1 Pear, Thinly Sliced
- 1 cup Fresh Green Grapes, Halved
- 1 lime, Thinly Sliced
- Handful of Mint Leaves
- Ice Cubes
- Edible flowers (garnish)

Instructions:

1. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled Pinot Grigio and Elderflower Liqueur.
2. Add your sliced apple, pear, lime and grapes, letting them soak for at least 30 minutes in the fridge to enhance the flavour.
3. Just before serving, stir in your Sparkling Water or Soda and garnish with fresh mint leaves and edible flowers.
