The Y Series Viognier label depicts a healthy vine leaf. The leaf represents our winemaking ethos and our holistic approach to sustainability. We must nurture our environment that provides us with healthy grapes ready for harvest year after year.
TASTING NOTES
Bright straw in colour with green hues. There are lovely aromas of orange blossom, fresh ginger, hints of honeysuckle and white flowers. The palate has fresh pineapple, Chinese white tea and dried figs leading to a creamy mid palate with a silky, textural finish. The wild fermentation and lees ageing gives the wine an extra level of complexity on the palate that belies its age. Drinks perfectly with harissa chicken or crispy rice pancakes with potato and chickpeas.

"For those unfamiliar with Viognier, I encourage you to try this varietal. It's a highly aromatic (floral), dry wine with lots of texture, a beautiful lemon colour and great length.
