A new way, Novum (meaning new in Latin) represents an up and coming, small producer from Marlborough where Sauvignon Blanc is not part of their repertoire… I know right. Everything about this wine emits class, the stylish bottle, label and wax seal and I haven’t even started on the wine inside. Started by Willy and Rachel Hoare (previously part of Fromm, say no more) who are passionate about Pinot and Marlborough and doing something different, where their love of the soil and the potential of top quality wines in Marlborough is at the forefront of their minds.

TASTING NOTES

Novum presents a new way of bringing lovers of fine wine and some of Marlborough’s best vineyards together.

A rich and robust style that speaks of the soil and the place the grapes were grown. Abundant generous fruit greets the palate with flavours of raspberries overlaid with subtle meat and hints of leather and spice. Wonderful tannins coat the inside of the cheeks bringing harmony, balance and length to the palate. Very stylish from whoa to go.
