Takaki's Masterpiece
Folium Vineyard is a wine producer, located in the Marlborough wine region of New Zealand's South Island. The 8-hectare (20-acre) organic Folium estate was founded by Takaki Okada, who named it after the Latin word for leaf. Production focuses on Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, both varieties which are widely planted in the region.
TASTING NOTES
This Pinot Noir is from block with clay soil, which is planted in 1996, one of the oldest Dijon Clone block in New Zealand. This wine shows elegant style Pinot with lacy tannins which brings complexity to wine.
