Aroma

Lighter in alcohol but full in flavour, this delicate pear blossom aromatics with sweet spice notes on the nose.

Palate

The palate is light yet textural, with flavours of quince paste and papaya. At 9.0% alc/vol this wine is 25% naturally lighter in alcohol compared to our standard Giesen Pinot Gris. Pinot Gris Fruit was sourced from a single vineyard in the Awatere Valley in Marlborough.
