Stunning Sav from an awarded wine making team
Cape Campbell Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Herbaceous, zesty, crisp acidity
The uniquely-striped Cape Campbell lighthouse stands sentinel at the southern entrance to New Zealand’s Cook Strait. At the same latitude is Cape Campbell’s original vineyard – also unique because it was the first in the Blind River sub-region of Marlborough’s Awatere Valley. This trailblazing spirit creates wines that are full of character and distinctly Marlborough.
Crafted beautifully, this wine has fresh herb, sea breeze, blackcurrant and cut grass characters. The deliciously juicy palate has a salty flint nuance and grassy freshness that makes it an ideal partner for fresh seafood. Enjoy on release and over the next few years.
"It's beautifully aromatic on the nose showing grapefruit, nectarine, kiwifruit and lime zest aromas. The palate displays excellent fruit vibrancy and persistency, backed by crisp acidity, finishing long and flavoursome" - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
