Champagne hallmarks at a Poverty Bay price
Paradox Gisborne Cuvee NV
Smooth, refreshing, rockmelon, peach, sparkling
Alluring aromatics of creaming soda, grilled grapefruit, red apple, white peach and pleasant hazelnut notes. Some toasty complexity is in support. The elegant palate shows attractive autolysis texture in a dry style that leaves a reasonably serious impression and very good length of flavour. The bead is fine and persistent.
"It’s fruit forward and attractively lifted on the nose showing apricot, rockmelon, golden peach and mixed spice aromas, followed by a beautifully rounded palate that’s smooth and refreshing with a hint of sweetness on the mid-palate, finishing long and succulent." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
