When we are offered small parcels of wine we often consult with Peter Saunders, long time wine critic, and author of 25 editions of A guide to New Zealand wine. His thoughts are: Light, fresh and tangy, nothing over-oaked or overboard here but some nice Pinot Noir characters that open up well in the glass with a few minutes of time. Very much at its best with some food; chicken, veal, lamb or even pizza.
