Medium bodied with flavours of plums, cherries & boysenberries with hints of spicy oak. The fruit for this wine came from various quality vineyards in Hawkes Bay.

This Merlot is perfect for drinking immediatly & will continue to develop with careful cellaring up to five years

His thoughts are: A gutsy and robust Hawkes Bay red, not too subtle so great with hearty foods. Lots of appeal with red meats, spicy pasta and well-flavoured pizza. Nicely ready but a wine in no hurry; just needs the flavoursome food.
