Andrew Harris Reserve Cab Merlot 2009

Andrew Harris is one of the largest winery's in the Mudgee region with a long history of grape growing from the 1880's and one of Australia's oldest prestige growing regions. A family owned New South Wales winery established in 1991, both employing and using the best technology available within the wine Industry. They have collected over 13 trophies & 420 medals to date.

In purchasing imported wines we consult with Peter Saunders Long time wine critic and author of 25 editions of A Guide to New Zealand Wine. He had this to say; "The extra spine of Cabernet with Merlot gives a nicely European tone to a young wine and the food-friendliness increases. Here´s a gutsy wine which will lift a barbecued sausage into a banquet and yet give heaps also to a slice of venison or roast of beef. Plenty of time ahead."
